On Wednesday, September 21 at 10 a.m., CCHCC and the Medicare Task Force will be holding a Community Meeting to inform Medicare Part D beneficiaries and new enrollees on what to expect from their 2012 Part D benefits. Please plan to join us at the Urbana Free Library’s Lewis Auditorium, located at 210 W. Green St. on the ground floor next to the Children’s Department.
Speakers will include Andrea Butler from Family Service Senior Resource Center and Medicare Task Force members Connie Georgoulis and the president of the Illinois Alliance for Retired Americans, Barbara Franklin.
We will be sharing information about the 2012 Open Enrollment Period, changes to Part D benefits related to national health reform, and providing general information for current or new Part D beneficiaries who are trying to navigate the complex enrollment process.
