Each year, Champaign County Health Care Consumers (CCHCC) helps thousands of community members navigate the health care and social service systems. Since 1977, CCHCC has advocated and organized to make sure our community members have access to the quality and affordable Health Care.

Our community needs a Health Insurance “Navigator” to help individuals, families, and small businesses use the new Health Insurance Marketplace that opens on October 1, 2013. This will be where people will go to find out if they are eligible for Medicaid, qualify for tax credits to help make monthly insurance payments more affordable, and select the best insurance plan for their needs. The insurance coverage will begin on January 1, 2014. With its proven track record of helping thousands of individuals and families since1977, CCHCC would be a great Health Insurance Navigator for our community.
