Take action TODAY for legislation to lower prescription drug prices!
llinois patients and seniors need your help to lower prescription drugs. Drug companies are making huge profits by hiking up the prices on prescription drug
A recent poll showed that in Illinois, 27% of families said they had skipped filling a prescription in the last year because of the high costs of prescriptions.
In Illinois, we have an unprecedented opportunity to pass legislation that would create greater oversight and transparency on drugs, and that would help reduce the cost of drugs.
That is why CCHCC is joining the fight for affordable prescription drugs.
When it comes to health care, having the right laws and programs isn’t enough.
So many of us have been fighting so hard to protect Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Our work to protect these laws and the programs they’ve created is ongoing, especially in this era of sabotage by the Trump Administration.
But protecting these laws and programs is not enough to make them work.
Everyday people need help signing up for health insurance – whether it be Medicare, Medicaid, or ACA Marketplace plans. And they need help avoiding costly mistakes when doing so – mistakes that can be costly to their health and to their finances.

Voting for CGFC’s “Round Up for Good” is now taking place, in order to select the organizations that will be featured in 2019.
