IL Attorney General’s Lawsuit

On June 14, 2007, the Illinois Attorney General’s office (IL AG) filed a lawsuit against Champaign-Urbana based Carle Clinic and Christie Clinic. The lawsuit complaint states that the Clinics conspired to exclude Medicaid recipients from their services in order to force the state of Illinois to increase Medicaid reimbursements to the Clinics, and have therefore violated anti-trust laws.
