On Tuesday, May 20, 2010, CCHCC’s Medicare Task Force held a press conference to provide consumers with information on new Medicare benefits and changes that will come into effect with the new health reform law passed by Congress. At the press conference, Medicare Task Force members presented information on the $250 doughnut hole rebate, the gradual closing of the doughnut hole coverage gap, and coverage for preventive care services.
